Nehal Deepak Modi, born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, is the brother of fugitive economic offender Nirav Modi. He has been implicated in the multi-billion-dollar Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case, one of India's largest banking scams. Recently arrested in the United States, Nehal is facing extradition requests from Indian authorities for his alleged involvement in money laundering and criminal conspiracy related to the PNB scam. He is accused of assisting his brother in laundering illicit funds through a network of shell companies and was charged with destruction of evidence following the fraud's exposure.
