Nicholas Hughes

Nicholas Hughes was the son of poets Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes, born in 1962. He chose a life away from the literary spotlight, becoming a marine biologist and moving to Alaska, where he studied salmon. Despite distancing himself from his family's literary legacy, Nicholas struggled with personal demons, ultimately taking his own life in 2009.
