
Nick Mitropoulos
Nick Mitropoulos was a prominent figure in the Greek-American community, known for his role as a close advisor to Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis during his presidential campaign in 1988. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he had a long and impactful political career, beginning with his involvement in George McGovern's 1972 presidential campaign. A graduate of Boston University and Oxford University, Mitropoulos later served as the executive director of the A. Alfred Taubman Center for State and Local Government at Harvard's Kennedy School. He was deeply involved in community initiatives and advised many Greek-American politicians.
