Niclas Herbst

Niclas Herbst is a German politician and member of the European People's Party (PPE). He serves as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and is the Secretary of the Committee on Budgetary Control. Herbst has been vocal about the need for increased transparency and oversight in the financing of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the European Union, particularly in light of a recent European Court of Auditors report that criticized the opacity of NGO funding processes.
