Nikauly Sánchez

Nikauly Sánchez is a resident of La Yuca in the Distrito Nacional who lost her home during the storm Laura in 2020. After five years of waiting for promised housing assistance from the government, she remains hopeful despite the trauma her family has experienced, particularly her eight-year-old son who still struggles with anxiety related to the event.
