
Nikolai Dedko
Nikolai Dedko is a Belarusian anarchist who has been involved in various protests against the government. He was sentenced to five years in a penal colony by the Minsk city court in November 2021 for charges related to inciting actions against national security and participating in major public disorder. Dedko has previously been detained for over a hundred days in solitary confinement, and as of September 2024, he faces new legal challenges that could extend his incarceration beyond his scheduled release date of April 2025.
