Nikos Galis is a legendary Greek basketball player, widely regarded as one of Europe’s greatest scorers and a pivotal figure in the history of Greek basketball. He played primarily for Aris Thessaloniki and the Greek national team, leading Greece to victory at the EuroBasket 1987. Galis was known for his incredible scoring ability and competitiveness, and he became the first player to be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the sport.
