Nilmaris Díaz

Nilmaris Díaz is a prominent activist and member of the Colectiva Feminista en Construcción in Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of Dominican migrants and has been vocal in advocating for the rights of immigrant communities, particularly in response to recent immigration policies and raids targeting individuals from the Dominican Republic and other marginalized groups. During a protest in Old San Juan, she highlighted the racial components of these immigration policies and emphasized the contributions of migrant families to the community, calling for solidarity and resistance against the actions of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
