Nils Bohr

Nils Bohr was a Danish physicist who made foundational contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum mechanics. He is best known for the Bohr model of the atom, which introduced the idea of quantized energy levels and was pivotal in the development of quantum theory. Bohr received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922 for his work on the structure of atoms and the radiation emanating from them.
