Nils Strindberg

Nils Strindberg was a Swedish engineer and a member of the Andrée Expedition, which attempted to reach the North Pole in 1897. At just 24 years old, Strindberg joined Salomon August Andrée and Knut Frænkel on this perilous journey, but their venture ended in tragedy, leading to a long-standing mystery regarding their fate.
