Noorulhaq Sadeqi is an Afghan refugee who, after fleeing his home country in 2021, has settled in the northeastern United States and works for a nonprofit organization. His situation has become precarious due to recent U.S. immigration policy changes that hinder his brother-in-law’s efforts to reunite with his wife in Afghanistan.
