Norman Butler
Norman Butler was one of the men convicted alongside Talmadge Hayer in the assassination of Malcolm X. Despite being a known member of the Nation of Islam, Butler consistently maintained his innocence and claimed he was not present during the shooting. His conviction was heavily contested, and he was released from prison in 1985 after serving nearly 20 years.
