Thomas Johnson
Thomas Johnson, also known as Thomas 15X, was convicted in connection with the assassination of Malcolm X in 1965. Like his co-defendant Norman Butler, he consistently denied any involvement in the crime. Johnson's conviction was controversial, and he, too, was released in 1985, with many supporters believing he was wrongfully accused.
