Oliver Champeau

Oliver Champeau was a resident of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and one of the crew members who perished in the Edmund Fitzgerald disaster. He had left school at the young age of 13 following his father's death and later served in the Korean War, reflecting his commitment to family and country before his untimely fate at sea.
