Omar Shaban

Omar Shaban is a 62-year-old economist from Gaza and the founder of the think tank PalThink. After the recent escalation of conflict in Gaza, he relocated to Egypt, where he continues to advocate for peace and international involvement in the region. Shaban has faced tremendous personal loss, including the deaths of two of his nephews, and he emphasizes the pressing need for global awareness and action to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
