Otto Wächter

Otto Wächter was a senior member of the Nazi party and an SS officer who served as the governor of Galicia and Krakow during World War II. He is infamously known for his role in overseeing the implementation of Nazi policies in occupied territories, which included the persecution of Jews and other minority groups. Wächter's legacy is marred by accusations of war crimes, and he has been associated with various atrocities committed during the Holocaust. Following the war, he evaded capture and lived in hiding until his death in 1949.
