Parasto

Parasto is a former soldier from Herat, Afghanistan, who served for six years before the Taliban took control. Following the regime change, she and her husband, both affiliated with the previous government, faced threats and harassment from the Taliban. Parasto's life has drastically shifted from military service to domestic chores, where she now spends her days alone in the house, reflecting on her lost dreams of serving her country and fearing for her family's safety.
