Marwa
Marwa is an Afghan woman and mother who was a top student in her English class before the Taliban took control, forcing her to abandon her education and wear a burka. She and her husband, Asadi, seek refuge from a country where their safety and future are at risk. They are currently detained in Costa Rica, where they have been stripped of their documents and are unsure about their immigration status.
