
Patrick Lumumba
Patrick Lumumba is a Congolese national who was wrongfully accused of murdering British student Meredith Kercher in 2007. At the time, he was the owner of a bar in Perugia where Amanda Knox worked. Lumumba was arrested based on coerced statements from Knox during a highly controversial police interrogation. He was later cleared of all charges, but the experience had a lasting impact on his life and reputation.
