Paul Delaney, co-founder of the National Association of Black Journalists, was a reporter for The Washington Star during the 1968 riots. He witnessed firsthand the community's outrage and despair following Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, participating in protests and documenting the unrest that unfolded on the streets of Washington, DC.
