Paul Ellis

Paul Ellis is a former New Zealand Idol judge and music industry executive known for his work as a producer and manager, having collaborated with various international music stars. He gained fame as a judge on the first two seasons of New Zealand Idol and later on New Zealand’s Got Talent. Despite his successful career, Ellis has faced legal issues, including multiple convictions for drink driving. Most recently, he made headlines for being found guilty of driving under the influence at nearly seven times the legal limit while living in his car in Nelson.
