Peneke Paruru

Peneke Paruru is an Auckland man who was involved in a cannabis supply operation, leading to his arrest during a police raid at his home in October 2022. He was found guilty of possession of cannabis for supply and was sentenced to two months of community detention in March 2024. The police later sought the forfeiture of over $77,000 in cash found in his residence, which was deemed to be the proceeds of crime.
