Perumal Vivekanandan

Perumal Vivekanandan is the founder of the nonprofit organization Sustainable-agriculture and Environmental Voluntary Action (Seva), which focuses on preserving and promoting Indigenous agricultural knowledge and biodiversity in India. Since its establishment in 1992, Vivekanandan has documented thousands of local agricultural practices, facing systemic challenges in legitimizing this knowledge within academic and funding circles that often undervalue traditional wisdom.
