Peter Grogg

Peter Grogg was a Swiss entrepreneur and the founder of Bachem, a leading supplier in the pharmaceutical industry known for its peptide production. He started the company in 1971 from humble beginnings, establishing a laboratory above a carpentry shop with his wife, Madeleine. Under his leadership, Bachem grew significantly, becoming a key player in the market for peptide-based medications, including weight-loss injections. Grogg was known for his modest demeanor and commitment to growth, remaining actively involved in the company until his passing at the age of 83.
