Peter Heylyn

Peter Heylyn was a royal chaplain and historian who documented the repercussions of the typographical errors in the 1631 edition of the King James Bible, famously known as the 'Wicked Bible'. He reported on the scandal surrounding the omission of the word 'not' in the seventh commandment and the subsequent actions taken against the printers.
