Petra Vera

Petra Vera is a Venezuelan activist and family member of a political prisoner, who has been vocal about the struggles and conditions faced by those incarcerated in her country. Recently, she expressed concern for the health of women family members participating in a hunger strike outside the National Bolivarian Police command in Caracas, advocating for the release of their imprisoned relatives. Despite being a cancer survivor herself, Vera has remained committed to the cause, emphasizing the determination of the families to continue their protests, even in the face of health risks.
