Polad Omarov
Polad Omarov, also a native of Azerbaijan, is accused alongside Rafat Amirov in a federal trial concerning a murder-for-hire plot targeting journalist Masih Alinejad, allegedly orchestrated at the behest of the Iranian government. Both men are charged with involvement in the conspiracy to assassinate Alinejad.
