Rıza Şah Pahlavi

Rıza Şah Pahlavi was the founder of the Pahlavi dynasty in Iran, ruling from 1925 until his abdication in 1941. He came to power through a military coup and implemented extensive modernization reforms aimed at transforming Iran into a centralized and industrialized nation. His reign is noted for attempts to reduce foreign influence, particularly British control over Iranian oil, although he faced significant challenges and ultimately saw his regime overthrown during World War II.
