R. Guy Cole, Jr.

R. Guy Cole, Jr. is a Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, having been appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1994. Known for his judicial expertise and commitment to civil rights, he has participated in several important decisions related to voting and election laws. He joined Judge Mathis in the majority opinion that denied the Justice Department's request for access to Michigan's voter registration files.
