Rachid Ganuchi

Rachid Ganuchi, an 83-year-old influential Tunisian politician and founder of the Ennahda party, has been sentenced to a total of 32 years in prison following multiple trials. His party was the most voted in the 2019 legislative elections, but he has faced increasing repression under President Kais Said, who has dismantled parliamentary democracy.
