Raditio Darmaputro

Raditio Darmaputro is a lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Erlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia. He heads the Center for European and Eurasian Studies and is one of the few Indonesian scholars specializing in Ukrainian affairs, Russian foreign policy, and Russian disinformation campaigns in Indonesia. Over the past three years, he has researched how narratives about the war in Ukraine are disseminated and shaped within Indonesian society. His insights reveal the complexities of Indonesia's stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, emphasizing the challenges of addressing sensitive geopolitical issues in a nation that grapples with its colonial past and contemporary foreign relations.
