
Rafael Karo Kintero
Rafael Karo Kintero is a notorious Mexican drug lord and former leader of the Guadalajara Cartel, which was one of the most powerful drug trafficking organizations in Latin America during the 1980s. He gained infamy for his involvement in the kidnapping and murder of DEA agent Enrique 'Kiki' Camarena in 1985, a crime for which he served 28 years in a Mexican prison. Recently, Kintero was in the news after being extradited to the United States, where he pleaded not guilty to charges related to drug trafficking and organized crime that could potentially lead to the death penalty.
