Ramiro Martínez

Ramiro Martínez is the president and one of the founding members of the cooperative Creando Conciencia, which focuses on recycling materials and managing waste in a sustainable manner. Based in Benavídez, Argentina, he has been instrumental in transforming the local economy through creative recycling initiatives that benefit both the environment and the community. Under his leadership, the cooperative has evolved from a small group of six workers to 105 members, shifting away from survival-based economics towards sustainable practices that prioritize environmental responsibility and social equity.
