Ramon Angel

Ramon Angel, also known as R1, is an alleged leader of an armed group associated with the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in Mexico. He was recently captured by authorities after being identified as the mastermind behind the assassination of Carlos Manzo, the mayor of Uruapan, who was murdered during a public ceremony in November 2025. His organization is noted for its violent activities, including extortion and drug trafficking, significantly impacting local communities in Michoacan and Jalisco.
