Rashid 1

Rashid 1 was the first lunar exploration mission undertaken by the United Arab Emirates, successfully landing on the moon in 2023. This pioneering mission provided crucial data and images that laid a strong foundation for future lunar explorations, including the subsequent development of the Rashid 2 lunar rover. Despite facing challenges during the mission, the insights gained from Rashid 1 significantly improved the design and technology of its successor, reinforcing the UAE's commitment to advancing its space exploration capabilities.
