Rashid 2

Rashid 2 is a next-generation lunar explorer developed by the United Arab Emirates, designed to enhance capabilities in lunar surface mobility, high-resolution imaging, and scientific analysis of lunar soil. Building on the experiences gained from the previous Rashid 1 mission, which successfully landed on the moon in 2023, Rashid 2 aims to explore previously uncharted areas of the moon and contribute valuable data to the scientific community regarding lunar composition and potential resources. This mission is part of the UAE's broader strategy to establish itself as a key player in global space exploration.
