Rebecca Contois was a 24-year-old woman from the Crane River First Nation, who was also a victim of serial killer Jeremy Skibicki. Some of her remains were found at a landfill in Winnipeg shortly after his arrest, making her case part of a tragic narrative involving violence against Indigenous women.
