Ricardo Augusto Dias

Ricardo Augusto Dias is a researcher at the Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science Faculty of the University of São Paulo (USP). He is involved in an international project aimed at monitoring the emergence of new pathogens in the Americas to prevent future pandemics. His research has been significantly impacted by funding cuts from the Trump administration, which has frozen 95% of the project's financing, primarily sourced from American agencies.
