Richard Blair

Richard Blair is the son of renowned author George Orwell, born Eric Arthur Blair. He was adopted as a baby and faced early adversity with the death of his adoptive mother. Despite a challenging childhood, Richard grew to become a devoted custodian of his father's legacy, often sharing stories of their life together on the remote Isle of Jura, where Orwell wrote his famous works. Now in his 80s, Richard has dedicated himself to preserving Orwell's memory and educating others about his father's literary contributions.
