Rick Cassidy

Rick Cassidy is a seasoned executive in the semiconductor industry, having spent over 27 years at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). He joined TSMC's North American subsidiary in 1997 and rose through the ranks to become president and CEO in 2005. Cassidy played a pivotal role in expanding TSMC's presence in the North American market, overseeing key initiatives and investments, including the establishment of advanced wafer fabs in Arizona. In April 2023, he became chairman of TSMC Arizona Corp but recently announced his retirement, marking a significant transition for the company as it navigates its ambitious growth plans in the U.S.
