On April 22, 2023, while enjoying the zipline ride, he recorded the horrifying sounds of gunfire from a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 26 individuals, mostly tourists. In interviews, Bhatt expressed his suspicions regarding the zipline operator who shouted 'Allahu Akbar' before the shooting began, highlighting the panic and chaos he witnessed as he fled the scene with his family.
