Robert Bartlett

Robert Bartlett is a veteran and retired college professor who has dedicated himself to preserving the history of the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion, known as the 'Triple Nickles.' He has shared insights into the unique and dangerous missions that these Black soldiers undertook during World War II, including their role in combating Japanese firebombs in the U.S. through Operation Firefly, and has highlighted the importance of recognizing their contributions to military history.
