Robert Zollitsch

Robert Zollitsch is a retired German bishop who served as the Archbishop of Freiburg from 2002 to 2013 and as the chairman of the German Bishops' Conference from 2008 to 2014. He is known for his role in promoting dialogue within the church, particularly during challenging times, and for advocating for social issues including interfaith dialogue and the church's stance on moral and ethical matters. Zollitsch also played a significant role in addressing the church's response to the sexual abuse crisis during his time in office.
