Rodrigo de Melo Teixeira is a former director of the Brazilian Federal Police (PF), appointed during President Lula's administration. He served as the director of Police Administration and was the third highest-ranking official in the PF. Teixeira left his position in late 2022 and currently works as the director of administration and finance at the Geological Survey of Brazil. He was recently arrested as part of a corruption investigation into environmental agencies, with allegations of using his public office for personal gain and being involved in illicit business dealings.
