Rodrigo Turbay Cote

Rodrigo Turbay Cote was a prominent Colombian politician who served as a councilman, deputy, president of the House of Representatives, and national director of the Liberal Party. He became a victim of violence when he was kidnapped by a group from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in Caquetá in 1997, and his body was discovered almost two years later under suspicious circumstances, casting a shadow over his family's legacy.
