Roman Semenov

Roman Semenov is a Russian co-founder of the cryptocurrency mixing service Tornado Cash, which was sanctioned by the U.S. government in August 2022 due to allegations of facilitating money laundering activities, particularly in connection with North Korea. Despite recent legal developments that led to the lifting of sanctions against Tornado Cash, Semenov remains on the sanctions list as he is accused of orchestrating schemes that allowed criminals to launder funds using cryptocurrency.
