Romito 2

Romito 2 is a prehistoric individual, dating back over 12,000 years, identified through advanced DNA analysis as suffering from a rare genetic condition known as acromesomelic dysplasia. Discovered in the Grotta del Romito, she was found buried in an embrace with another individual, Romito 1, suggesting they were closely related. Genetic testing confirmed both were female and likely mother and daughter.
