Rosa María Mérida

Rosa María Mérida is the Guatemalan Consul General in Miami, Florida, known for her active role in advocating for the rights and welfare of Guatemalan migrants in the United States. Recently, she visited the detention center known as Alligator Alcatraz, where she interviewed Guatemalan detainees to ensure they receive consular protection and support during their immigration processes.
