Roscoe Hillenkoetter

Roscoe Hillenkoetter was an American naval officer and the first director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 1947 to 1950. He played a crucial role in the early years of the CIA, particularly in the agency's efforts to manage and investigate UFO phenomena, including the controversial Majestic 12 group, which allegedly oversaw secret operations related to extraterrestrial encounters.
