Rose Ngugi

Rose Ngugi is a fellow at the African Economic Research Consortium, where she focuses on economic development and trade issues in Africa. Recently, she emphasized the need for African nations to capitalize on local skills and strengthen regional trade through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) in light of the expiration of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (Agoa).
